UAV Demonstration and Showcase
This free event is being held by GRACE and Ocuair.Com to mark the creation of a test-bed for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle technology on The University of Nottingham's Jubilee Campus.
Unmanned and Autonomous technologies will be a BIG part of our future. They will provide low-cost solutions to a wide range of activities eg:
- environmental and infrastructure monitoring,
- agriculture and land use,
- building maintenance,
- transport,
- planning,
- health,
- public safety,
- supporting research for improved sensors and monitoring techniques.
Up until now this has required:
- expensive infrastructure,
- helicopter, manned planes of satellite imagery,
- physical inspection in hazardous environments,
...which means that reliable information is difficult to collect.
Meet the experts to find out how you could benefit on a day that will include:

You are welcome to visit the Open Exhibition of aircraft for commercial use in the foyer of the Nottingham Geospatial Building between 12:00 and 13:00 on the day and talk to the experts.
