An Ariane-5 rocket has been successfully launched from the Guiana Space Center, delivering communications satellites which will relay services to European, African and Asian operators.
The rocket blasted off from the European Space Agency's launch centre in Kourou, French Guiana on the northeast coast of South America.
Two more satellite launches are expected to be launched in November 2010.
