Locate your business with GRACE

Locate your business in the Nottingham Geospatial Building (NGB) and gain direct access to the growing GNSS expertise at the University of Nottingham

GRACE (GNSS Research and Applications Centre of Excellence) officially took residence in the new Nottingham Geospatial Building on the 21st of October 2009 alongside the IESSG (Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy) and the CGS (Centre for Geospatial Sciences). The 2000 sq metres BREAM Excellent rated building located at the centre of the prestigious University of Nottingham Innovation Park (UNIP) offers a total of 100 sq metres of combined touchdown, business incubation and office space to potential tenants including access to conference and training facilities. A location at NGB will put you at the heart of an internationally renowned centre of excellence in GNSS Research and Development; a growing GNSS community and provide you with direct access to state-of-the-art development laboratories, hardware and software based simulation tools, a mobile GNSS laboratory, an NRTK test-bed and our unique roof-based test-track and laboratory.

The NGB offer includes: "virtual" mailing addresses, dedicated desk-space as well as dedicated office space and all the benefits you would expect from being part of a technology focused business incubation centre (GRACE is a recognised member of the European Business Incubation Network [EBN] and ESINET [European Space Incubation Network]). To give you a first-hand chance to take a look at what NGB has to offer you are invited to attend an NGB tour and open day. The open days are currently planned for Friday Nov 27th and Friday December 4th 2009 with tours commencing at 10am and 2pm on each of those days. Refreshments will be provided. About GRACE

The University of Nottingham has joined forces with the east midlands development agency (emda) to create a new world-class centre of excellence in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) with a total investment of £9.2m. The Nottingham Geospatial Building (NGB), the home of GRACE officially opened its doors on the 21st of October 2009.

GRACE provides regional, national and international business with access to world-leading facilities that will include customised incubation units, touch-down space, project offices, state-of-the-art testing equipment, secure research & development laboratories and dedicated training suites.

GRACE capitalises on the existing capabilities of the University of Nottingham in Research and Training and combine for the first time in one new location, the world renowned IESSG (Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy) and the CGS (Centre for Geospatial Science) together with newly formed GRACE team.
