The Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition is one of the UK’s most prestigious science exhibitions. If you would like to showcase your research there in July 2013, then apply by 6pm on Monday 15 October.

Student volunteering opportunity
The University is working in partnership with national charity IntoUniversity to deliver the IntoUniversity Volunteering Scheme.
Volunteers either provide academic support helping children with homework or educational activities or mentoring to develop children’s attainment, social skills and raise awareness of their future options.

Cascade: funding round now open
Staff and students with ideas for transformative projects can apply now for up to £10,000 from Cascade, the University’s fund to help enable projects making a significant impact on the student experience.

Recently Cascade awarded £10,000 towards the cost of University Radio Nottingham’s studio upgrade.

If you're a first year student, we want to hear from you. All you have to do is tell us what you thought of the communications you received before you arrived and complete a short computer based task.

Earlier start for Royal Derby Hospital Centre hopper bus
The first bus from University Park to Royal Derby Hospital Centre now leaves East Drive at 7.45am and the West entrance at 7.50am. Other departure times remain unchanged.
