ISAC at UKSAF winter meeting

The Interface and Surface Analysis Centre (ISAC) kicked off 2014 with a very successful day at the UK Surface Analysis Forum January meeting. Hosted at the University of Nottingham, by the Nottingham Nanotechnology and Nanoscience Centre, the event brings together some of the leading figures and organisations in surface analysis from across the UK and beyond. ISAC was therefore delighted to generate a high level of interest with its first commercial exhibit, presented by the centre's business manager Dr Matthew Piggott. Furthermore one of ISACs leading academics, Dr Mischa Zelzer, was awarded the Vickerman Prize for 2013 for his excellent early career achievements in UK surface and interface science. Details of Mischa's award are available here. Overall it was a fantastic day for ISAC, and it's contributing partners the University of Nottingham and NPL. A great way to begin the new year.
