NPL and ISAC Academic Wins CRUK Grand Challenge Award

 

Cancer Research UK has today announced that Dr Josephine Bunch of the National Centre of Excellence in Mass Spectrometry Imaging (NiCE-MSI) at the National Physical Laboratory and Interface and Surface Analysis Centre (ISAC) at the University of Nottingham is one of the 4 inaugural recipients of their global £100 million Grand Challenge Competition. Josephine and her collaborators have been awarded up to £16 million for their 'Charting unknown territory: mapping what we don't know about a tumour' project designed to address CRUK's Grand Challenge 5 '3D Tumour Mapping'.
