Pinacl is pioneering the deployment of advanced collaborative communications such as videoconferencing over IP networks in the education sector. IP Telephony is another area of particular focus.
In 2001, Pinacl won contracts to supply videoconferencing systems and infrastructure to FE and HE Institutions throughout the UK. Projects included 85 sites for the Welsh Video Network, and 10 sites for CADISE (Consortium of Arts & Design Institutions in Southern England). Pinacl also supplied H320/H.323 MCUs supporting the AJENT Videoconferencing Service in Edinburgh.
Pinacl works in partnership with the education community to ensure successful implementation and use of new technologies.
