The Aftermath

Networkshop 30 took place as planned and is now ancient history. The programme is available on the UKERNA web site (at the time of writing) with the slides of many of the presentations available in PDF or PowerPoint.

The Conference

Networkshop 30 will take place at the University of Nottingham from lunch-time on Tuesday 26th March 2002 to lunch-time on Thursday 28th.

Networkshop is an annual event organised by UKERNA and hosted by a Higher Education Institution (HEI). Aimed at network managers and technical staff from the JANET community, the conference provides a forum for discussion on the latest network technologies and brings together expertise from all the fields of networking.

The Exhibition

The exhibition offers a unique opportunity for firms supplying network hardware, software and services to present themselves to the technical experts and managers who decide on the expenditure for the academic community. The community as a whole spends several hundred million pounds per annum.

Sponsorship

There are opportunities for firms to sponsor various items during the conference.

The Venue

The conference will take place in the excellent East Midlands Conference Centre. Residential delegates will be staying in Rutland and Cavendish halls. Exhibitors are recommended to make use of the EMCC's Hotel Reservation Service.

The Final Programme is now available.

Paul Wakefield is leading the organisation of the programme and can be contacted by phone on +44 (0)1235 822239 or by mail
