Objective
The objective of the Summer School is to provide the attendees with a comprehensive overview of satellite navigation. It starts with the GNSS system, its signals, processing observations in a receiver and determining the position-navigation-time (PNT) solution. Lab work is included to give attendees plenty of “hands-on” experience. In addition, lectures on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and patents, as well as on business aspects are given. The future of satellite systems is also discussed. The main emphasis of the school will be put on the development of an innovative group project which will cover all aspects including the idea, business plan, technical realisation all the way up to marketing the product or service.
Who is it for?
The program is open to graduate students (with a first university degree), PhD candidates, early-stage researchers and young professional wanting to broaden their knowledge.
