Ideally, you need to think about doing the following:
- Complete the sepsis six
- Give prescribed antibiotics
- Continue with fluid resuscitation
- Perform ECG
- Catheterise – CSU and dipstick urine
- Swab leg wound, undertake MRSA screen
- Check if other venflon is working, recannulate if not and take bloods – UE, FBC? Blood cultures
- Set up for an arterial line and CVP line
