  • Repeat Arterial Blood Gas [view result]
  • Discuss possible sources of infection
  • Catheterised - urine output residual of 50mls
  • Urinalysis [view result]
  • Chest x-ray
  • Examine extent of oedema – legs no more oedematous or redder than normal, abdomen soft non-tender
  • Gain medical history (finish clerking) and calls registrar to develop the plan further
