About the Project Team
Liz Khalil
Liz is an experienced researcher at the University of Nottingham School of Nursing, she has been working in the mental health research group for four years. Liz has carried out a number of projects about the effectiveness of mental and physical health services for women. Liz is especially interested in the wellbeing of women with mental health problems like depression, and in the positive effect that exercise can have.

Ioannis Morres
Ioannis is the exercise consultant and research associate of the programme. Ioannis has extensive experience in physical activity interventions in mental health care including planning, developing and research. Since 2003 he has been investigating preferred intensity of exercise as an intervention for people with depression.

Professor Patrick Callaghan
Patrick is Professor of Mental Health Nursing at the University of Nottingham, UK and Nottinghamshire NHS Healthcare Trust where he heads a research programme designed to enable people to recover from mental distress, leading on service evaluation, testing the effect of psychosocial, interventions on health and well being and investigating links between mental health nursing and service user outcomes.
