RLO: Dyslexia and workplace learning

Introduction

Dyslexia is commonly associated with difficulties with reading and writing, but it can also include directional difficulties, repeating facts in sequence, and mixing up times and dates. It is also linked to enhanced skills in visual and spatial modes of thought.

Recent legislation means that educational establishments must make reasonable adjustments for disabled students, which includes students with dyslexia. This also applies to work placements.
