Join us to learn more about Nottingham Festival for Science and Curiosity and find out how you can get involved and share your research.

About this event

The Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity will be taking place from 7 - 16 February 2022. For the last six years, the festival has been a key opportunity for researchers and students from University of Nottingham to take their research off-campus and into the everyday lives of the people of Nottingham.

Organisers learnt learnt a lot from delivering the 2021 festival during lockdown, and are now developing plans that include activities they are sure will proceed, with flexibility for online/in-person events as restrictions change.

Learn about how you can contribute to the Festival magazine, the hugely popular Wollaton Watch, or create online/in person events. Events can be aimed at any audience, there is an offer curated especially for schools that you can participate in, or you can create your own event for a specific group of people.

If you're interested in getting involved join Megan Shore (Festival Producer) and Maria Richards (Institute for Policy and Public Engagement) for a half-hour Zoom where you'll learn more details and have the chance to ask questions.

All are welcome, whether you have heaps of experience or are wanting to take your first steps in outreach.
