Pint of Science 2025
The Pint of Science festival is back in Nottingham this year with over 27 Nottingham researchers and scientists bringing their discoveries into a venue near you.
Tickets are now live for the world’s largest festival of public science talks, and Nottingham is in on the action!
From 19–21 May, the Pint of Science festival returns to Nottingham, bringing science out of the lab and into pubs, cafés, and community spaces across the city. Held simultaneously in more than 25 countries and hundreds of cities worldwide, Pint of Science is a truly global celebration of science. Over 27 researchers and local scientists will take to the stage to share their cutting-edge research in a fun and informal setting, no lab coat required!
As part of this year’s festival, researchers from the University of Nottingham will be sharing their work with the public in venues across the city, turning pubs into spaces for lively conversations about science, innovation, and discovery.
University of Nottingham scientists will take the stage at local favourites including Canalhouse, The Blind Rabbit, Bunker’s Hill, and Beeston Social. Talks will cover everything from the science of everyday life to futuristic research, including 3D-printed organs, the truth about ultra-processed foods, the growing interest in CBD as medicine, and how artificial intelligence is shaping our world.
Tickets are just £5 and available now at pintofscience.co.uk.
