Matthias is Assistant Professor of Fungal Genetics and Biology based in the School of Life Sciences. His research addresses nutritional aspects of pathogenic fungi during the infection process of mammals in order to identify new antifungal drug targets. Matthias is a member of the Beacons core management team.
