Biography

Dr. Serik Tokbolat is an Assistant Professor in Sustainability and Sustainable Construction Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham. He previously worked as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture, Design and Built Environment, Nottingham Trent University. Prior to joining NTU, Dr. Tokbolat worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University. Dr. Tokbolat obtained his PhD in Energy and Process Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He holds an MSc degree in Management in Civil Engineering from Nottingham University as well as an MEng degree in Civil Engineering from Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilyev.
