Jordan Kauffman: Modelling Postmodernism: Architecture and Historical Absence
Methodological and Historiographical Issues in Developing a Book Proposal
This seminar introduces Jordan’s developing book project, Modelling Postmodernism: Architecture and Historical Absence. In this session, Jordan will discuss— and warmly invite feedback on— the methodological and historiographical questions shaping the development of his book proposal.
We hope that many of you can join us. The sharing of ongoing research, open discussion, constructive peer review, and mutual support are central to the work of our research group, and this seminar is an important opportunity to continue that collaborative practice.
For PGRs, the session will be especially valuable in demonstrating how a substantial body of primary and secondary research becomes shaped into a coherent proposal, and how methodological reflection informs the writing of a long form output – be that a book or a PhD!
