The 14th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies SET 2015 will be held in Nottingham on the 25th to the 27th of August 2015.
This year’s conference theme is ‘Sustainable Energy for a Resilient Future’.

SET 2015 is a multi–disciplinary, peer-reviewed international conference on sustainable energy sources and technologies that provides a forum for the exchange of latest technical information, the dissemination of the high-quality research results, the presentation of the new developments in the area, and the debate and shaping of future directions and priorities for sustainable development and energy security. 

The conference topics are organised around 4 themes: 

  • Sustainable Cities & Environment
  • Energy Technology & Renewables
  • Energy Storage & Conversion
  • Policies & Management

Confirmed keynotes speakers include:

  • Professor Matheos Santamouris, University of Athens:
    Urban Warming - Evidence, Impacts and Mitigation
  • Professor Edward Y Y NG, Chinese University of Hong Kong:
    Sustainable Living in Compact Urban and Built Environment in the Tropics.
  • Professor Chi-Hwa Wang, National University of Singapore:
    A Singapore Story on Waste Minimization and Energy Production
    .
  • Professor T S Zhao, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology:
    Innovating Energy Storage Technologies for a Sustainable Energy Future.

Submissions: the submission deadline for 2000-character abstracts is the 31st March 2015.
Proceedings: all accepted papers will be published in the book of proceedings and selected papers will be published in special issues in our partner journals.
Travel grant: We are also very pleased to announce that we are offering 3 travel grants for postgraduate students who demonstrate academic excellence through the quality of their research.
