Sustainable Energy Technologies (SET) is a multi–disciplinary, peer-reviewed international conference on sustainable energy sources and technologies that provides a forum for the exchange of the latest technical information, the dissemination of the high-quality research results, the presentation of the new developments in the area, and the debate and shaping of future directions and priorities for sustainable development and energy security. SET 2015’s theme was ‘Sustainable Energy for a Resilient Future’.
SET 2015 was chaired by AEE Group Head Professor Saffa Riffat, Co-chaired by Professor Mark Gillott and Dr Lucelia Rodrigues and managed by Researcher Zeny Amante-Roberts.The conference was held in the Albert Hall and opened by the Vice Chancellor Sir David Greenway, was a huge success, attracting 300 delegates from over 40 countries.
A highlight was the presence of Robin Hood who took delegates for a historical walk through Nottingham before gathering the crowd for a civic reception in the stunning Long Gallery in the Nottingham Castle, with the presence of the Lord Mayor of Nottingham Councillor Jackie Morris.
