NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow wins first prize for presentation

Dr Rosalind Simpson, NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow at the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology has been awarded first prize at the ‘Sue Watson Postgraduate Presentation Prize’ event, run by the School of Clinical Sciences, University of Nottingham. This is a biannual event held for all second year PhD students in the School to showcase their research.

Rosalind presented alongside 24 other researchers, of which all presentations were of a high standard and demonstrated the diversity of research being undertaken within The School. Rosalind’s oral presentation described the methods used to achieve international expert consensus on diagnostic criteria for vulval erosive lichen planus. The work has been well received by the clinical community and has been published in the British Journal of Dermatology.
