Biography

I Graduated with a BA in Geography in 2001. Since then I have worked in the environmental sector focusing on flood risk and environmental pollution management. Working with communities and flood risk responders to prepare a coordinated response to flood risk in the East Midlands area.

Expertise Summary

I have three main areas of technical expertise.

The first is in people management, managing and supporting colleagues to deliver a high profile and challenging program of work.

The second is in flood and risk management systems- mapping and modeling of flood risk systems and communicating flood risk

My third area of expertise is in emergency planning. Working within the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and working with numerous public and private sector organizations to develop consistent and effective plans and procedures to respond to both flood and pollution incidents.
