Biography

Erica has been teaching veterinary anatomy at School of Veterinary Medicine and Science at Nottingham University since its opening in 2006. In 2019 Erica completed her PhD in Veterinary Education, which evaluated anatomy teaching in a clinically integrated curriculum. Erica is currently Director of Education, and oversees the management and delivery of the veterinary curriculum and programme of assessment. Erica is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and teaches anatomy, professional skills, and convenes a Post Graduate Certficate in Veterinary Education.

Expertise Summary

Erica is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and her interests and expertise include teaching veterinary anatomy and small group facilitation, student-led learning, outcomes-based veterinary anatomy, and open book assessment.
