Biography

I am a part-time Associate Professor in the Veterinary School with a primary focus on clinical skills teaching across all five years of the undergraduate programme. I lead the Clinical Skills Centre and am a module convener for the Year 2 Gastro-intestinal systems module. In addition, I am a member of the Senior Tutors team for professionalism and discipline, promoting professional standards and student support across the School.

Expertise Summary

My expertise is in small animal veterinary practice and clinical skills education, with a focus on teaching and assessing practical skills across the undergraduate veterinary curriculum. I am particularly interested in preparing students for clinical practice through hands-on training and the promotion of professional standards.

Research Summary

My current research focuses on undergraduate clinical skills training and the employment and integration of veterinary nurses within veterinary schools.
