Speaker: Professor Judy Hutchings, Director of the Centre for Evidence Based Early Intervention (CEBEI), Bangor University

The Centre was established to build on Judy’s research work on early preventive work to support parents, children and teachers to help children to achieve the best possible outcomes. Judy has expertise in randomised controlled trial research design, has held grants totalling over £2 million, published extensively and worked with the Welsh Government providing training and consultation to services across Wales. She has provided evidence on effective early intervention to government departments in England and Wales and been an expert witness to NICE. She has lectured and taught internationally including in Finland, Denmark, Ireland, Australia, Poland, South Africa and Portugal.
