We are delighted to announce that Matthew Brook has been chosen as a runner-up for the prestigious Journal of Physiology 'Early Investigator Prize 2016' for his paper Synchronous deficits in cumulative muscle protein synthesis and ribosomal biogenesis underlie age-related anabolic resistance to exercise in humans.
Matthew is a member of the Cinical, Metabolic and Molecular Physiology research group, based in Derby, working on musculoskeletal ageing.
