In October the Physiology Society held its ever popular Friday event in Derby. Staff and students gathered to chat about all things physiology and to enjoy some rather eclectic cakes! Students were offered the opportunity to sign up to the Society and to enjoy the research posters on display provided by various research groups in Derby such as renal, muscle and reproductive physiology. Staff and students produced some wonderful baking of physiology-themed cakes, including cardiovascular, cellular and reproductive cakes – some of which were very creative!
