HLGC Inaugural Annual Lecture - Historians, Lawyers, and the Varieties of Legal History

Description: The History of Law and Governance Centre is very pleased to announce its inaugural Annual Lecture. We are delighted to be hosting Professors George Garnett (Oxford) and John Hudson (St Andrews and Michigan), who will be speaking on ‘Historians, Lawyers, and the Varieties of Legal History: A discussion of the work of J.C. Holt and S.F.C. Milsom’. The lecture will be followed by a reception in the Atrium. This promises to be a fascinating event drawing together many of the Centre’s key themes, and we look forward very much to seeing you there.
