The Human Factors Research Group (HFRG) is a multidisciplinary world-leading team applying human factors theory, methods and approaches across a wide range of application areas.
We take a human-centred, systems approach to ensure design for usability, efficiency, effectiveness and wellbeing for individuals, teams and organisations.
We use novel technologies such as virtual reality, simulations and mobile technologies to develop and evaluate design of future systems that will enhance the way we live and work.
Our partnership links with industry and academia ensure that our research has impact in many domains including transport, healthcare, education, creative industries, manufacturing and future cities.
