Exhibition at Oswestry Town Museum

With curatorial support from the director of Oswestry Town Museum, the travelling exhibition on the Place-Names of Shropshire was displayed at this museum in the centre of Oswestry. Feedback from visitors highlighted their interest in the meanings of local street-names, field-names and settlements.

This was the second location in Oswestry to host the exhibition, following on from its stint at Oswestry Library nearby, where a well-attended talk had also taken place on Welsh and English place-names in Oswestry on 29 October, delivered by Dr David Parsons.
