Training organised by the Health and Safety Department
The Health and Safety Department can conduct, deliver, arrange, and recommend training providers for a wide range of courses. Most are open to staff and research students as appropriate to the individual's needs and the job role.
Training delivery varies, depending on the nature of the content. Some courses are classroom-based and others are through E-learning packages, either designed specifically for the University or general content.
Some health and safety training, e.g. university induction and fire safety, will be mandatory. Your business unit H&S Coordinator will know which training you should complete.
