The Centre for Geospatial Science
University of Nottingham

The Centre for Geospatial Science (CGS) is a major-cross disciplinary post-graduate research centre that was established in April 2005 under the directorship of Professor Mike Jackson. CGS is a key part of the University of Nottingham's strategic investment in innovative research, not only pioneering research in geospatial techniques, but investigating how these advances can augment other fields.

CGS goes from strength to strength, and is now staffed by eight affiliated academics and nine post-doctoral research staff. CGS is also home to nine PhD candidates and has established a new MSc by Research in Geospatial Intelligence.
