HEFCE publishes e-learning strategy

The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) published, in March 2005, their e-learning strategy for the next decade. This is quite a short document, by HEFCE standards, at a mere 19 pages, and is based on an extensive consultation exercise within the HE sector. It sets out HEFCE's "strategy and implementation plan for supporting higher education institutions to develop and embed e-learning over the next 10 years", in close cooperation with JISC and the Higher Education Academy (neé LTSN and ILT) and will undoubtedly be of particular interest to those thinking of tendering for HEFCE and JISC programmes.
