What we do

Our Centre focuses on optimizing the use of agricultural nitrogen to increase yields and reduce losses to the environment.

Funding

Our work is co-funded by the Newton Fund via the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and by Brazilian research funding agencies.

The NUCLEUS Virtual Joint Centre was officially launched at a meeting on April 17-19, 2016, at the Agronomic institute of Campinas, one of the key research institutes in Latin America.
