Biography

Rohan graduated from the University of Hull in 2000 with a BSc (hons) Nursing Sciences RN in adult nursing and commenced work on Trauma and Orthopaedics at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham. In 2004 she was promoted to the trauma support sister which involved supporting the practice development sister and trauma co-ordinator. In 2005 Rohan became the Trauma Co-ordinator for QMC. In 2004 Rohan gained a BSc (hons) in Musculoskeletal Injury with Specialist Practitioner Status from the University of Nottingham.

In 2012 Rohan moved to the Major Trauma Centre as a Major Trauma Case Manager and set up and developed the service. In 2017 Rohan left the NHS and moved into private practice as a Case Manager and Expert Witness in care and catastrophic injury. This involved developing tailor made rehabilitation plans for clients and preparing expert reports for the courts.

In 2020 Rohan joined the School of Health Sciences as a Teaching Associate. Rohan is the course lead for Clinical Learning 2 and the Admissions Tutor for the Foundation to Health Sciences Course. Rohan teaches on the BSc and GEN courses and passionate about delivering high quality teaching and support to students.
