Each spring the Centre for Evidence Based Dermatology holds an Annual Evidence Based Update Meeting, which is co-badged with the British Association of Dermatologists and chaired by Professor Hywel Williams.
The meeting summarises the most recent evidence in the form of systematic reviews and recently completed trials for the treatment and management of the chosen skin disease topic. The 2020 meeting will be looking at the treatment of keratinocyte cancer (non-melanoma cancers). With the help of the British Association of Dermatological Surgery we can offer an interesting and informative programme with international speakers.
The day features a question & answer session, where delegates submit clinical questions to an expert panel composed of the speakers from the day and representatives from the patient community.
The topic varies each year in response to feedback from the previous year’s delegates. This event has been awarded 5 CPD points from the Royal College of Physicians.
