Scheme dates: Monday 26 June to Friday 18 August
The Arthritis Research UK Centre for Sport, Excercise and Osteoarthritis internship scheme provides the opportunity for newly graduated health clinicians and health scientists, and medical students (third year or later), interested in research in sport, exercise and osteoarthritis to obtain first-hand experiences of multi-disciplinary research environments. Via mentorship from key senior researchers, interns are exposed to research design, conduct, governance and analysis and dissemination activities in a range of health disciplines. They will be given a project that aligns with the host institution research team and is feasible to complete within the short time frame. This is an unpaid internship; however £500 will be paid towards living costs and travel for internship-related activities during the placement. The 2017 Internship Scheme is now open to applications. Full details of the scheme can be found on the Centre website. Applications will be accepted until 5pm on Friday 3 March.
