Empowering you to shape your learning as well as the university experience for all, the Students as Change Agents programme is increasing student engagement while offering you a chance to gain some worthwhile experience.
The programme is open to all students, across all years and campuses. It allows you to work on projects, become an active member of a team and have the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact on teaching and learning in the University for you and also future students.
Change Agents projects cover six main themes:
- Technology in teaching and learning
- Academic skills development
- Learning for employability
- Programme and module review
- Assessment and feedback review
- Sustainable practices in the University
Once your project idea has been approved, you’ll be supported by peers and a staff partner to lead a change agents project.
In addition to playing an active part in making significant changes at the University, this opportunity offers training, hands-on experience and will help you to develop a number of key employability skills that will look impressive on your CV, including project management, communication and problem-solving. You can also choose to get credit for your work by doing the Nottingham Advantage Award Students as Change Agents module.
If you’re interested in the scheme or have any questions, please visit our Students as Change Agents webpage where you can find our contact form or email us at changeagents@nottingham.ac.uk.
