A new one-way system on the loop road around the Royal Derby Hospital will go live on Monday 10 April.
Patients and visitors are being asked to take care this weekend as final preparations take place. Entrance B (first entrance off Uttoxeter Road for traffic coming from the city) will be closed to all traffic from 8.15pm on Saturday evening for the rest of the weekend. Traffic will be able to use the entrance off the roundabout as usual.
From 6am on Monday, the new one-way system on the hospital loop road will come into effect, taking traffic around the hospital. New traffic lights on Uttoxeter Road, located at the first entrance to the RDH site, will be switched on to help control the entry and exit of traffic from this entrance.
