International Women's Day 2023

Wednesday, 01 March 2023
International Women’s Day (IWD) takes place on Tuesday 8 March 2023, with activities taking place at the university throughout the month.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2023 is #EmbraceEquity:

Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have.
A focus on gender equity needs to be part of every society’s DNA.
And it’s critical to understand the difference between equity and equality.
The IWD 2023 campaign theme drives worldwide understanding as to why equal opportunities aren’t enough!

For International Women’s Day and beyond, let’s all fully #EmbraceEquity.
