The Research Discovery Internship Programme (2024-2025) call for interns is now open.

The programme is designed to give budding researchers the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience and is open to students from all disciplines.

Research Discovery Interns work 10 hours a week during term time on a research project. As an intern, you will be based within a research team and will work closely with an academic supervisor and members of their team including postdoctoral researchers, research technicians and PhD students. 

Successful candidates will receive a stipend for 10 hours per week throughout the 2024/25 academic year and will be paid in three instalments of approximately £1,092 throughout the year (matched with the National Living Wage).
