Wanyu Chung receives SMYE 2015 Best Paper Award

Wanyu Chung, Research Fellow at the School of Economics, won the Best Paper Award from one of the most renowned conferences for young researchers, the Spring Meeting of Young Economists (SMYE) held in Ghent, Belgium in May 2015. This year, only 180 young researchers were selected from over 700 applicants to attend the conference. The best paper was selected by the representatives of the Local Organising Committee, the Program Committee and the board of executives for the European Association of Young Economists. Wanyu was recognised for her study "Imported Inputs and Invoicing Currency Choice: Theory and Evidence from UK Transaction Data." The award came with a prize of 500 euros. Wanyu has also accepted to be in the SMYE 2016 Program Committee.
