Graduates from the School of Economics are among the country's top earners within five years of leaving Nottingham

Across the UK, economics students are the most highly paid graduates (excluding medics) with average annual salaries of £36k within five years of completing their degree.

The School of Economics at Nottingham is ranked in the top 10 of all the economics departments in the UK, with an average salary of £48k, and the majority of students being in the range £36k-£62k.

Figures are based on students completing their degrees in 2011 and released through the national Longitudinal Education Outcomes (LEO) survey.
