Research award success

The School of Economics' Professors Kevin Lee and Paul Mizen have been awarded £132,600 to fund a project on Using Firm-Level Surveys to Understand Industrial and Regional Capacity, Investment, Productivity and Output Growth. The project will focus on firms' plans and expectations using micro-data from the Confederation of British Industry's suite of business surveys for the UK matched to accounts data from Companies House.

The project is funded by the Office for National Statistics through the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) and will provide for a PhD/post-doc post for 2019-2021.
