Biography

I am a first year PhD student. I earned my MSc degree in Economics & Financial Economics in 2020 and MRes degree in Economics in 2023 from the University of Nottingham. I worked at the Central Bank of Turkey between 2017 and 2022.

My research interests lie in Macroeconomics and International Trade. I am affiliated with the CFCM and GEP research centers. My supervisors are Zhihong Yu and Giammario Impullitti.

I am a holder of the School of Economics Scholarship.

Research Summary

My research topic is FDI, Patent Filings and Firm Performance in China. It aims to examine the role of foreign ownership on the innovation performance of the acquired firms in China.
