Biography
Mohamed joined the School of Economics as Associate Lecturer (Teaching and Research). Before coming to Nottingham, he worked as a Teaching Associate in the department of economics and finance at Queen Mary University of London, and City, University of London where he also completed his Ph.D. in Economics. He has international professional experience as an Associate Lecturer in Economics with in-depth knowledge of fiscal policy, and econometric forecasting models sufficient to enable innovation and new understanding in the field by developing a promising research agenda. He supervises Master students in a variety of areas including macroeconomics, econometrics, and international economics. He also studies Academic Practice Postgraduate Diploma for Advance HE Senior Fellowship in the UK.

2015 Full Masters scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Germany. 2015 £14,415 full tuition waiver for M.Sc. in Economics at the University of East Anglia in Engand,(declined). 2013 Research grant from the Ford foundation at the American University in Cairo.
