Staff Funding Opportunity: Joint and Collaborative Awards

The ESRC Midlands Graduate School (MGS) has now launched its formal call for proposals for Collaborative Studentships and for Joint Studentships to be funded under the ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership.

Staff from any of the six MGS institutions are invited to submit a project to the relevant competition as follows:

  • Collaborative studentships - with an external/industrial partner
  • Joint studentships - with a supervisor from one of the other MGS institutions

The deadline for staff to make their applications Monday 19th November 2018. Successful applicants will then be invited to recruit a student to start October 2019.

An event providing further information for University of Nottingham staff about these competitions is being held over a late lunch (which will be provided) at the Orchards Hotel on Wednesday 19th September, 2-3pm. Please register to attend at https://joint-collab.eventbrite.co.uk
