Academic Enrichment Programmes Manager, Faculty of Registrars
The Widening Participation Team leads the University's work to engage learners from less advantaged backgrounds in education and support their progression to higher education, including the University of Nottingham. The Team delivers over 80,000 places on more than 3,400 outreach activities each year. We support measures across the student lifecycle relating to admissions, success, financial support and progression.
The Academic Enrichment area of work targets high-achieving young people with the potential to progress to a selective university. Our programmes include the week-long Sutton Trust and Nottingham Potential Summer Schools in July, taster sessions, masterclasses and revision sessions for the pre-16 and post-16 Ambition Nottingham programme, as well as activities for other schemes such as Pathways to Law and Pathways to STEM.
My role is responsible for delivering the post-16 programmes - summer schools and Ambition Nottingham - and supporting participants from these programmes as they transition to higher education. I also manage conversion activities and tracking, and oversee the Summer School Society for former participants enrolled at Nottingham.
