Biography
Jenny works with colleagues across the University of Nottingham to drive forward the university's civic agenda both internally and externally. This includes leading the pioneering 'Universities for Nottingham' project, which brings together activities across both of Nottingham's world-class universities, and other local anchor organisations, to improve the way we work together for the benefit of our area. Prior to joining the university, Jenny worked in regional economic development and European policy at the East Midlands Development Agency, working in partnership with local, national and European stakeholders.
Expertise Summary
Through the Universities for Nottingham initiative Jenny is the initial point of liaison and coordination with Nottingham Trent University. She also holds external relationships with other local anchor organisations working together to deliver the Universities for Nottingham Civic Agreement, including local authorities for the city and county, the Local Enterprise Partnership (D2N2), Vision West Nottinghamshire College and the local healthcare trusts and Integrated Care Board.
Jenny represents the University as part of the national Civic University Network.
