Biographical details

From Caracas, in 1816 she and Josefa Antonia Tobar de Buroz, were on the point of being whipped by Salvador Moxó, they were reprieved after an intervention by the Oidor Francisco Heredia, but they were imprisoned in La Guaira for being patriots. (Monsalve, 72)
